I wanted to drop a note to let you know how well received your presentation at W.V.O.C. was last Thursday. Not only did I find the information both pertinent and valuable, I spoke to others who did as well. I particularly appreciated the brilliantly simple self-assessment tool: a 3×5″ file card with two columns for likes and dislikes. This is a step many of us overlook in our search for a lucrative, high status career.
Thank you for taking time out from your busy life and giving back to the community. You certainly have a lot of insight to offer.
Now that I’ve learned about your favorite pastime, I am very interested in hearing you on the piano!

It doesn’t matter whether you do it on a 3×5 card or on a whole wall, the point I tried to get to was understanding our abilities and preferences.
